Panzi Lodge - Your Stay in Guernsey Nature Reserve

Panzi Lodge has 12 thatched-roof bungalows and a self-catering Two-Bedroom House. Each bungalow features high ceilings and wooden floors. The large single beds have mosquito nets and are cooled by ceiling fans. All rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Private bathrooms include a shower; some units also offer an outdoor shower. The Two-Bedroom House has its own pool and mountain views.

Breakfast is a fresh buffet served daily in the thatched dining area open to the garden. Dinners are three-course set menus of local South African cuisine, often cooked on the braai (barbecue) in the boma area. The honesty bar is well stocked and packed lunches are available for day trips. Room service can deliver meals and drinks.

The lodge arranges game drives in the Guernsey Reserve and nearby Kruger National Park. Guests can also join bush walks, quad biking, or a boat cruise on the Blyde River. Three viewing decks overlook a waterhole, where zebra, giraffe, and buffalo are common sights. The outdoor swimming pool with loungers provides a way to cool off after drives.

Panzi Lodge sits in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, a 45-minute drive from Kruger National Park's Orpen Gate and the Panorama Route. The property is reached via an 11-km gravel road from the main gate. Free private parking is available on-site. The lodge can arrange airport shuttle transfers. Nearby attractions include the Blyde River Canyon and the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.
